Brian Cooke is the founder of Cooke Capital, advising venture-backed and emerging growth companies. He brings extensive corporate and startup experience, having previously been a Partner in PwC's strategy consulting practice until 2016.

Brian is recognised for his sharp analytical capabilities and strategic insight. He specialises in simplifying complex commercial data, delivering rigorous financial evaluations, and providing sound investment advice. He has led M&A transactions exceeding $10 billion across sectors including Transportation and Oil & Gas, and has managed large multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholder relationships.

His recent advisory work includes supporting an Australian venture capital firm on portfolio strategy and assisting the founders of a technology compny to negotiate and complete divestment of the company to private equity.

Currently, Brian is an active angel investor and serves as a non-executive director of Brisbane Angels. His angel investing aligns with his interest in mentoring early-stage startups and fostering innovation. He has a strong track record of working with boards and executive teams to drive strategic and operational transformation, across diverse industries to help clients navigate complex acquisitions and divestments with practical, commercially focused advice.
